The Committee on Education moved to amend the bill on page one, section seven-c, lines seven through eleven, by striking out all of subsection (c) and inserting in lieu thereof a new subsection, designated subsection (c), to read as follows:

(c) In addition to the program of instruction provided for in subsection (b), county boards of education may require high school students to complete a one credit course of study in personal finance as a requirement for high school graduation.  This coursework may include an end-of-course examination.
